Totally trashing the data in a file is certainly very different from a
bug where an expression doesn't stay where placed until you change the
view percentage.
There are bugs and there are bugs, and a bug where one's data is
destroyed through no fault of one's own other than to use the most
recent release of a trusted application is certainly not to be tolerated.
Has anybody run into this on a windows machine?
