MM provides a product that, in other profession, would command upwards of 3,000 US Dollars.  For what they provide and the price they market it at, I can give them the benefit to get some bugs worked out.

If I remember correctly - I paid $1000 for the first version of Finale.  And yes, I've been using it that long.  It has flaws which range in importance from small annoyances to serious threats to the hard work of people using it.  It is important to recognize the differences between classes of problems.  It seems that this last thread has been about a pretty serious bug.  I have had periodic crashes in which I've lost about 5 minutes of work each time (5 min. intervals between auto-saves), but nothing as serious as some have described.  Nonetheless, there's something going on that MM needs to know about and respond to.

I am eager to see what is resolved in the expected maintenance update - and hopeful that it will be as much of an improvement for this version as other updates have been for others.  The sooner the better.  (Or maybe the better the better.)
