Just to keep things straight (if possible) here: the bug I have
experienced has not been the one that is being widely discussed
lately. It's simpler - Finale just crashes sometimes, and I can't
tell what causes it. I'll keep my typing fingers still about it
until it happens again, and I can identify more about it. It may
have to do with documents which have big GPO playback loads. I have
not lost more than 5 minutes of work with this, but I am cautioned
nonetheless.
