Ahh Brennon, As far as finding a saved file is concerned, if you had autosave turned on in Finale's Program Options, then there's a recent copy somewhere. Otherwise, and I say this in all sympathy, experience is a hard teacher, first the test, then the lesson. Nowadays, not only do you need to learn music, but if you want to use these tools, there are work habit lessons to be learned about them as well. I can't count the number of times things like that have happened to me, and though I don't mean to make light of it, or to sound Pollyanna-ish, if your work was meaningful to you, and had your own inner logic driving it, it should be possible to reconstruct it. You can't get the time back, but you can take advantage of the problem to reexamine your work. That's about the most positive spin I can muster, and I hope it helps your morale.
