Dean,

To be technical, I think it's probably just the "gpoinstrument.txt" file in your "Finale AU" folder that's gone awry (you didn't mess with that in any way, did you? Like, perhaps, editing it, or moving it to a different location?) But reinstalling Finale GPO is perhaps the easiest solution to fix everything.

I guess you could also try deleting your Finale prefs, too. But reinstalling FinGPO is pretty much a sure-fire fix.

Yeah, I guess I'll have to look into that ... but, isn't it strange that my files I created in GPO still play fine?

Ok, all of the sudden, when I open up a new Fin06 file in Setup Wizz, it defaults to Smart Snth, and no GPO is available. Why? And how do I access the GPO choices?

GPO can be turned on and off under the MIDI menu -- on the Windows platform the choices you need are:
Play Finale Through Native Instruments VST
and
Native Instruments VST Setup.

But that's not what Dean was asking about.

Dean, somehow, your installation of GPO Finale Edition has gotten messed up. I recommend reinstalling from the _replacement_ Finale install DVD you should have received by now.

Cheers,
