Hello Finalists:
I have a question that's come up in the context of using Finale to
generate lead-sheets for songwriting. Often songwriters will start a
song in one time signature, but then try it out shifted. For example,
a song first 'heard' in 4/4 might get shifted into 6/8. Is there any
way to do a mass reassignment of note rhythmic values within a
selected passage, assuming that the transform would be uniform? Say,
taking 6/8 into 4/4 dotted quarters would become half notes, etc.
