Ah, here's a related question -- I'm running Windows 98 under Virtual PC, both because it's the only version of Windows I own, and because anything more recent performs rather horribly in emulation.

Finale 2006 seemed to install okay under Windows 98, but then when I tried to launch it, it said it's missing a DLL and refuses to start.

The system requirements says it requires Windows 98 Special Edition. What's that? Is that a paid upgrade from vanilla Windows 98? I'm gathering it's not just a Virtual PC glitch -- Fin2006 doesn't work with Win98 at all, then?

Thanks, Dennis, but I might as well just install Fin2006 for Virtual PC (which I should have done in the first place).

Hi Darcy,

Do you want the Windows PDF file with the shortcut keys? I can send it, but I'm still on 2004.
