Hi all,
Apparently, this EPS issue is an MS Word problem, not Finale, or the
OS, or EPS in general. A friend here processed the file in Adobe
Distiller, and the resulting pdf looks fine. People with PS printers
were able to print from Word without a problem, but others got
rasterized graphics. This method seems to work for showing rough
drafts. Whoever does the layout later in the process will surely use
a page layout application that will handle the graphics correctly.
