Thanks to all for the tips. I realize I should have been more specific and apologize for not giving more context and for my mistake in counting (128th notes). Couperin often uses runs with four or five beams, but these aren't mathematically exact values, which means one has to use tuplets.

In this case, I have five five-beamed (128th) notes in the space of an eighth note. But the tuplet definitions don't go beyond 64ths. If I define the tuplet with 64ths and then change the duration, the spacing is messed up. So, how could I go about doing this?

Thanks,

Dennis

Enter the notes as five 64th-notes. Create a tuplet which is five 64ths in the time of 4 32nds. Then use the Mass Mover tool to change note durations by 50%.
