My friend has a number of measures of "meaured tremolo", and he has
successfully notated it by defining a duplet of two sixteenths in
the space of one half, and changing the noteheads. But he would
like it to play back correctly, that is, the measured tremolo
sounding, and wonders if there is some technique by which he can
hide the notes for the measured tremolo in another measure, and
still have them play back. I thought I remembered coming across
this once, but I can't remember exactly where, and cannot find it
in the documentation.
