I think you can count on that -- Native Instruments (makers of the
Kontakt Player) announced their commitment to Universal support on
the same day as MakeMusic did. I have no insider knowledge, but I can
only assume that NI have committed to deliver a Universal Kontakt
Player in time for the release of Fin2007.

This is great news! Hopefully GPO (and whoever makes the engine
that powers it) will be going Universal around that time.
