This must be a problem with your printer not printing accurate
margins. I have the same problem with my HP 6MP but my A3 printer, an
ancient LZR2080, prints the margins accurately and nothing needs to be
adjusted.
I would guess that the margin errors are a printer problem too, as my
HP5100 has problems with 2-up margins as well.
