Would anyone know any online resources showing 2nd movement headers and indentation styles, to give me a bit of a model to use for my project? Eor example, the first page of the score obviously the top margin is a lot lower than the subsequent pages, but for the 2nd movement, I am guessing that while the top margin is a bit lower, it's not going to be as low as the first page's. Thanks to your input in this forum I have gotten everything into a single file and working nicely now.
There is no standard for this, so you probably won't find that much help. Your best bet is to look at scores of a similar kind by a publisher you like. If you have a library near by, get some scores out and compare.
I am guessing that you are doing baroque music. Look at some Bärenreiter scores of Telemann programmatic suites or the like.
I recently did Rebel's "Les Eléments" for Edition Walhall. I obviously cannot send you the file, but I might be able to send you some excerpts as PDF. Some of the layout decisions weren't mine, but it's certainly a good example. To be honest I think this is the best engraving the publisher has in his catalogue.
