To Aaron Sherber (and/or anyone with suggestions),

Thank you for your speedy & helpful response.

One question about the Instrument List window: Since this is a piano solo, do
I need a different type of piano for each channel? Ideally, it would be best
if all channels could be Acoustic Grand Piano with different dynamics/
voicings for the various contrapuntal lines on each staff. Is this possible?

Yes. Look in the User Manual under "Instrument List Window". Much of
this should be taken care of for you if you use the Wizard to create
your new documents, but you can always do things yourself with the
Instrument List.

Yes. This is the Instrument List window again. This window can be a
little confusing; I would suggest giving it a try after reading the
manual, and ask here if you have further questions after that.

Well, you might try turning off Edit | Automatic Update Layout. That
will prevent Finale from doing anything with the layout behind your
back. To move things onto a new page (looking at the second part of
your paragraph), select the Page Layout tool, right-click on a
system, and choose Insert Page Break.

Visit the link at the bottom of this email. At the very bottom it
says, "To unsubscribe from Finale, get a password reminder, or change
your subscription options enter your subscription email address."
Enter your email address there and push the button. On the bottom of
the next page is a button to email you your current password.
