I think the "hardspaces" are to be inserted by Alt+160 (on the numeric
keypad). That's explained in the manual under "melismas".
I don't get anything when I type alt-spacebar (in Finale/Win).
Bernard is correct. He will not get anythiong with alt-spacebar, as
this is a MAC OS issue, and Bernard is on a WIN box.
As to Jonathon's problem, is this a "screen font" / "printer font"
issue, where the hard-space may be in the screen font, but not the
printer font?
