The list tells Finale which fonts it should consider as "symbol"
fonts: all the music notation fonts + Zapf Dingbats, Wingdings, etc.
Open it in TextEdit and delete any font that looks like it's a normal
text font (such as Times).

Just wanted to know (because it's been driving me crazy!):
What *does* this list do?
Why is Finale so possessed trying to ask me if every font known to
macman
should be on this list (well, more fonts, of late, than just Times)?
What fonts should be on the list?
DOES IT REALLY MATTER? I never notice a difference if I keep a
font on the
list or not.
Why does Times keep reappearing on this list when I take it off?
If I were to delete this list would Finale create a new one
(corrected,
maybe)?
Is this a bug?
If so, is it a Finale issue or an OS issue?
Guess I'm a little ticked.
This became more of an issue for me last night when I started getting
grilled for *each file I had open* every time I switched back to
Finale from
another application.
