No, it's a recent version of Windows, and the best workstation version of Windows ever released (the best server version is Windows Server 2003, which has none of the awful problems of WinXP). Software doesn't rust, so the idea of Win2K being "old" baffles me. Only idiots think that the newest and the greatest is required for stable and fast performance. WinXP is neither, while Win2K is both. I don't care if it was 6.5 years ago that Microsoft released it -- it is still the best version of Windows Workstation, and is quite widely used everywhere. -- David W.
