I, for one, agree, and I hate them for having dropped the part name as text block feature of extract parts. For me this is a loss of one automatic function which I had set up once in my default file and never ever had to think about.
Now I have something which is sort of better, but requires extra steps which easily get forgotten in the process of preparing a score and parts. There was no reason to do it this way.
