I need your wisdom.
I'm starting to adjust to the way Linked Parts behave. I have two (major) concearns though:
- I want measure numbers to have a completely different look/placing/size in my score than in the parts in the file. Any ideas on how to solve this in a good way (without saving the score in a separate file, destroying the very idea of linked parts) ? I think there should be options in Meas.Nr Attributes Dialog like "Show only in Score" vs "Show Only in Parts"
- When using the Special Part Extraction process (saving every part as a new file containing the whole score, with the selected part in page view) as saved massives of time because the system locks remained as I choosed the next part. I could use the layout of Trp. 1 and just "pour" Trp2 right into it. Is there any way now in linked parts to quickly copy a measure layout
from one part to the next?
Also, my adjustments to measure withs doesn't stay in place as I move along to the next part? Is there a way to avoid this? This also apply to music-spacing. I always have to run music-spacing again to have the part look correct. (I have "Automatic Music Spacing" checked.
