Eric's points concerning the November font is another example of why a
discussion of what's possible in the two programs is futile, as is any
discussion of what constitutes great output even when discussing only
one program.
Not all musicians appreciate the same things in the music they look at.
Some want larger noteheads, some want smaller noteheads, some want
fatter lines others want thinner lines.
This whole subject of high-quality engraving, or what constitutes great
engraving is so subjective as to be impossible to discuss. For me, the
proof is when a musical work I have "engraved" using a computer is
placed on musicians' stands and the work is played and never once is the
rehearsal stopped because of unclear notation or poorly laid out page
turns or repeats.
When the discussion is entirely about musical issues, I have succeeded.
When nobody complains about the printing job I have succeeded.
And it doesn't matter at that point what settings I have used -- the
engraving hasn't been the subject of complaint or the cause of lost
rehearsal time.
That's what counts most, not whether the music could be hung in the
Detroit Museum of Musical Engravings or featured in Music Engraving
Magazine's annual issue of "Best Engravings I've Ever Seen." (you should
see their swimsuit issue, though!) ;-)

A friend of mine has used November and it looked excellent - though
whether it's worth the US$89 is a personal decision I suppose. But it
may help the music to look less "mechanical"!
