All I know about this specific project is what I've read in the 
paper, and I believe it said that it was just for the public benefit. 
And I think the NMA editorship wanted to do something like this 
themselves, but couldn't justify it without a decent subsidy.

But the Haydn isn't finished, so I don't think they'd do it.

And the Grove Online pricing makes me think it unlikely that such a 
price would be chosen -- Grove is $300/year for individuals. If it 
were $150, my bet is they'd have 2 or 3 times as many individual 
subscriptions.

Another alternative would be to have tiered pricing, with unlimited 
access for a certain amount, and limited access for a low amount, and 
per-service charges when you exceed that amount in a month.
