has anyone had this happen, or can anyone confirm that this happens NOT just to me?

in a linked part (2007c) page view, define a MM rest to a width of 550 EVPUs (or 600 or whatever); change to scroll view (cmd-e); return to page view. default width now. i also tried it with a different end position defined (eg. to avoid collision with clef changes).

i never had this happen in 2007, never tried 2007a or b.

I have been noticing strange things change while I'm not looking, or in some cases even when I AM looking. Add this one to the list.

So far:
Slurs sometimes leap into wide arcs, only to calm down when I scroll back to check/edit them.

Articulations that have been defined to avoid staff lines jump into the staff when I'm not looking, only to go back again if I hit Redraw (sometimes!) This is particularly tremolo marks and caesuras, which also seem to nudge themselves a couple of clicks to the right when I turn my back.

I have had the same experience as Chuck with staff styles re-applying themselves in different places a few times. No way to say exactly how it occurs, what keystrokes, etc. Reset to Score solves it, though that means it makes it hard to have different ones in the parts than the score, like one and two bar repeats.

Parts sometimes respace themselves, wrongly, too, with collisions. Mass Edit 4 solves it, but why in the first place?

Multimeasure rests always need to be created the first time. I would have expected this to be automatic. I haven't noticed your problem... yet.

I actually watched an Eb in the trumpet staff change itself into a D# while I was editing a tuba staff in Speedy Entry. Make Music confirms there is a bug with enharmonics in Speedy, but this is out of control!

Relink to score doesn't seem to work as a keyboard command on Text expressions, though the right-click does.

krap.

In fine Teutonic style, too. I agree.
