The problem is that "link" is unchecked by default in 2007, and I don't see
an option to keep it turned on. It's very easy to forget it when working
quickly -- and since no other graphics program forgets to remove deleted
graphics, how could have guessed?

The April score had 25 images, and it only takes a few misses to bulk up
the file into the tens of megabytes. These embeds don't "undo" unless it's
the first action you perform after making the mistake. I can close and
reopen the previous version of the file and recreate all interim work, or
copy/paste into a new score and redo the layout. If you looked at any of
these, you realize these performance pieces for tenor guitar are very
visually oriented.

But, of course, I didn't discover the problem until the most recent set of
12 scores (one each month) that are based on each other started to load
very sluggishly (an 80MB Finale file will do that!).
