Hands down Adobe Indesign. Great program.

Hi Christopher,
All the layout has been done and, no, I don't want to do it again!
I have not used a page layout program, but it does seem as if this may
be the time to buy and learn to use one.
Suggestions?
Thanks,
Chuck

Hi all,
I am seeking advice before stumbling though the process of combining
7 songs for voice and piano into a "collection" booklet with
consecutive page numbers (and a TOC page). Are there tricks, or
working methods that make this go smoothly?
I am assuming this can be done elegantly within Finale.
Not very elegantly, no.
You would be better off exporting each piece into a format readable
by a publishing program, and doing all the page layout, titles, table
of content, and page numbers there.
Or at the very least, just change the page numbers in each file so
that they have the correct offset, create a separate table of
contents, and print them as separate files.
All the hard-won page layout and resizing you have already done will
be lost if you paste the pieces together in Finale, to be completely
redone. If you haven't done any layout yet, then never mind my
advice, go ahead and do it in Finale.
