"Bbsus(add2)" or "Bbsus4/2" (without the slash and with the "4/2"
stacked vertically, like "6/9") is pretty widely used and understood
in pop music. But I'm not sure if that's the chord that's actually
intended here. "Bb(add9, sus4)" is a bit ambiguous -- it's possible
that what's really wanted is "Bb9sus." The difference is, "Bb9sus"
has a b7 (Ab) in it and "Bbsus(add2)" does not.
Going back to the original subject, is anyone really happy with the
ugly way that "Avoid Chord Symbol Collision" in music spacing affects
note spacing? Or is it just me? I find it a real pain to have to
selectively redefine and reapply spacing (collision or not) in order
to get good-looking charts.
