Hi:
I thought it best to put this in its own thread.
I have had strange results using the time signature tool. This is with
music already entered into the score, and the score initially all in
4/4.
For example, I clicked on a bar to change it from 4/4 to 2/4 (and
checked "rebar"), selected that bar only, and got two bars of 2/4. So,
it divided the bar I selected into two 2/4 bars rather than making one
2/4 and reflowing the rest of the score.
I selected a 4/4 bar to change from there to the end of the piece to
3/4 and some measures are off by one or two beats. In other words, the
music no longer lines up.
Has anyone else dealt with changing time signatures yet?
This has always been the way the program worked, if you select a single
bar for the time signature. What you need to do is to select from the
second 2/4 measure, the one you don't want, all the way to the end of
the score, change it to 4/4 and be sure "rebar music" is checked, and it
should neatly end up in 4/4 as you wanted.
