Yes, it SHOULD, but whether it actually does that or not in Finale is
between you and the programmers... 8-)
You might have to either enter it differently, or resort to Special
Tools to do this.
I have moved it to its proper position with the notehead mover tool, but
I can't get it in exactly the right place. I think I was trying to move
it for a smaller dictance than Finale can handle. So I was left with a
gap between the stem and notehead which I had to fill up, I tried to
lengthen the stem with a smart line, but that wouldn't go in the right
place either. But I won't switch to S*! I'm Dutch, je maintendrai!
