It's possible I'm not seeing the problem. If you move the notehead under a higher magnification, as Christopher suggested, the nudge will be smaller. If the stem is the problem, the last of the special tools is a bit cryptic looking. That's the stem length tool inside a beamed figure. With the combination of those two, I can get any note to meet any stem. Or do I misunderstand the problem?
