I'll do that, though I'm not sure how revealing it will be. My speed of
working in Finale comes from Speedy entry with two-handed touch typing on
the numeric keypad + control clusters and the right side of the alpha
keyboard. The keyboard autorepeat is set to maximum speed and autorepeat
delay set to minimum (my wife can't even touch my computer because it runs
away from her!). The arrow keys come into play extensively (including for
pitch changes), and I keep my eyes on the score (or gazing blankly into
the distance when composing into Finale), and don't look at the screen
except when moving elsewhere in the score.

the few folks who uses the "eyes off" method -- and clearly one of the
reasons I'm concerned about the addition of Sibelius to my toolkit. (I had
a heck of a time learning Graphire, and still and completely unproductive
whenever I touch it.)
