You have the option of using either TrueType or PostScript Type 1 fonts with Sibelius 4 or later. All 40-plus fonts that are included with Sibelius are supplied in both TT and PS formats. On both Mac and Windows, Sibelius installs the TrueType ones by default, but if you want to use the Type 1 fonts, it's very straightforward to do so. See 'Music fonts' in Help > Sibelius Reference for specific instructions, or let me know if you run into any problems. (As an aside, there's really no specific benefit to using Type 1 fonts in the 21st century, and publishers and bureaus who maintain that there is a benefit are either using very outdated imagesetting hardware, or are very superstitious!)
