2) What do you know about how existing Sibelius users anywhere feel about the special offer S~. has made to Finale users in the Western Hemisphere?
I forgot: here in germany the distributor makes a special offer when the upcoming of an upgrade is iminent. he sells the full version x already a few months ahead at a lower price (don't remember how much now), with a free upgrade to x+1 when it's available. that's how I got sibelius 4, by buying sib 3 and getting 4 a couple of months later. if you know german and want to stick to it, here's a hint. of course, on the next upgrade you're on your own.
