Thanks to David and Herman for replies. If anyone can advice a simple
free MIDI sequencer that can do that job, I will be grateful
Marcello
As I have in mind to create a site of mine proposing my vocal
arrangements for sale, I would like to put on the site demos of PDF's
(first page) and MIDI's with a fade out of the same page.
Which tools do I need? Do I have to get the full Acrobat software to
rip the first page of the PDF or have to create a proper cut of the
original MUS file to make a reducted PDF? Is there a PDF free tool
that does the same job?
And to manipulate the MIDI file in order to create a fade out? It's
the first time I'm involved in this project so I need your kind help.
Thanks
Marcello
Any good midi sequencer will allow you to do what you want --
www.pgmusic.com sells PowerTracks for around $50 and it'll certainly
do what you need. There may even be some free sequencers which will
do what you want.
And there are some fine free PDF creating programs -- these install as
printer drivers (I use PDF995 which is free with nag screens until you
pay $9.95 to register it). Then from within Finale you simply select
your PDF program from the list of possible pages and tell Finale to
only print page 1.
