I've been waiting since about Finale 06 or 07 to decide on upgrading
(I'm still using 03, and know there are ton of really great features
that would make my life *much* easier), but every time there's a new
release there seems to be some show-stopper that makes that version
really unusable, so I put it off another year.

Given that I'm on WinFin 03, do think that on balance I'd be better
off with 09, even with all the problems people are having from 07 to
08 to 09? Do you think the accumulation of big feature improvements
(automatic expression placement and linked parts are the two that I
am most greedy to use) outweigh the problems? I recognize that so
many things have changed that in some respects, it might be almost
like starting a new program (the copying/select behavior and loss of
note-attached expressions are two really huge changes that would
require a large change on my part in how I use Finale).

That said, is it time for someone like *me* to upgrade? Or should I
wait for the next one?
