I haven't looked at any of these (I've been fighting a cold/bronchitis and a bad back this week), but here's the Download.com results for a search of free Windows graphic editors: http://tinyurl.com/ln63z3 (http://download.cnet.com/1770-2192_4- 0.html?query=free+windows+graphics+editors&searchtype=downloads&filter =licenseName=Free|platform=Windows&filterName=licenseName=Free|platfor m=Windows&tag=ltcol) I don't know whether the editor or user ratings are more useful, but at least you can read people's reactions to the program before choosing one. I find that when evaluating free software like this, I pick the best- sound 5 or 6 and find maybe 1 or 2 that are both good and compatible with my way of thinking. Unfortunately, I don't have time to look at any of these. -- David W.
