I can't believe this is the first time I am dealing with this, but it
is the case.
I have Flute 1 and Flute 2 on the same staff in the score, set to use
the TOP note or Layer 1 for Flute 1, and the BOTTOM note or Layer 2
in Flute 2 for the parts.
The problem is the oboe cue. It appears in the score in Layer 4,
which means it doesn't get included in EITHER flute part, plus the
whole rests added in the score in Layer 1 are cluttering up the Flute
1. I can't for the life of me figure out how to make it appear in the
parts, since I won't get multiple layers ever in either of the flute
parts.
What is the usual way of dealing with this? I can't find any mention
of this specifically in the docs. Do I have to extract the part and
forego linked parts for this tune?
