Apparently your new screen has fewer pixels than your previous one, where the 
said dialog bow was near the edge.

One method maybe solving the problem is about adding an external monitor, if 
you have one, and then about by means of the monitor control panel from system 
controls  moving that external monitor around until you see the dialog box. 
Then drag the box to your on-board screen and unmount the external monitor.

My terms may be inexact, as I work on Macs with Danish as the system language
