Sorry, more and well arranged pixels will solve the problem. I work with 3 or 4 monitor. If one fails or if I for other reasons rearrange them, I may loose the said dialog box. If I open Finale and by means of screen preferences move one or more monitors around relative to the home screen, then the box will appear. It then can be dragged to the home screen.
