Double click the first measure with the Time Sig tool. Click "More Choices." Click "Use a different time signature for display." Click "Composite." Enter on top 4 then 2 Enter on bottom 4 and 4. OK back to the document.
Now double click the second measure. You only have to change the UPPER time signature to 2/4; it will still display as 4/4+2/4. Now you should select the measure stack of bars 1 and 2 and copy it to the end of the document. Done. You now have an entire document full of alternating measures of 4/4 and 2/4, but with a time sig of 4/4+2/4 at the beginning. Christopher P.S., I like my special thank yous in the form of a nice India Pale Ale, draft with a medium head, not too cold. I'll put it on my list.
