i use a style in the SC (metatool-s) with alt notation (blank with rests) then replace in PTs a separate style with alternate notation unchecked (metatool-p). cues go in layer 4 and full measure rests (for PT) in layer 3.
also, i have an iKey script set up to run once i have copied the source cue that reduces to 75%, forces stems up, goes to layer 3 and selects speedy, then click and set the rest as needed and adjust stem direciton if needed. obviously best to set up your cues completely in score (transposed) before adding the style. _______________________________________________ Finale mailing list [email protected] http://lists.shsu.edu/mailman/listinfo/finale
