I am doing another project with the parts and score in one file, and I want to be sure I am not crazy. After having laid out most of the parts, I decided to add a bar in the middle of the first movement. What happened was this:
1. The note spacing of all the parts destroyed (but not the measure widths). 2. All the "Begin New System" bits were reset to not checked. 3. The note spacing of a few bars throughout the score was also reset. 4. All the page breaks in the parts were deleted. 5. The multimeas rests that encompassed the added bar were destroyed and had to be recreated. Has anyone else seen behavior like this? In this case, recovering was not that bad, but I am thankful I didn't spend a lot of time manually spacing the parts.
