This is my first experience with extracting orchestra ports in 2012. I extracted parts successfully (more or less… they were a mess) for individual instruments, but now I'm trying to extract a whole set of vocal parts--about eight staves, and not all are grouped as one big part. Also, the method and results are so different that I'm completely thrown about how to "gang" emptyh measures with a number over them. In the individual parts it didn't work automatically and I had to create the numbers over the long empty stretches and do a lot of nonsense that used to be automatic in 2010.
Because I have low vision, it's difficult for me to get answers from the usual online "manual" of help objects. I can read email, but the vast and arcane format of the help pages are more daunting than i have time or patience for… Is there a simple way to do this? Or am I going to have to create a whole new file just for the vocal parts? sigh… thanks for any clues!
