I've been very happy with the sounds that Sibelius ships with and while I have experimented with some other sound libraries I have, I've reverted to using only Sibelius's own included sounds. The program works very well with its own sounds, and not as easily as one might wish when using third party sounds. You can join the Sibelius group at yahoogroups and ask there -- there are a couple of members who have invested in NotePerformer. You should ask them if they think it's worth the extra effort and expense. -- David H.
