‘should’ as in ‘likely will’.

It is long since I had a problem like yours. The link above here displays a
screenshot sample of a text block in my current project. This extended title
was made in one single text block in Finale Mac 2014d on a 9 years old Mac Pro
running OSX 10.7.5 (which is anything but current). The sizes and styles were
all edited within this text block.

I've pretty much abolished the use of "should" and "ought". :)
Changing point size doesn't work with Word Perfect even in
a brand new text block. I was pretty sure I had created a
new one, and have now checked.
For the moment I'm going with creating separate text blocks
if I want more than one font / size / style, as I haven't
needed to do anything seriously fiddly yet. I'm guessing that
I might be OK with a font or word processor that didn't
originate with another company. Commercial blackmail of a
rather subtle type?
Thanks for your input.
Patsy
