i have the file path set to a "F2014" folder for auto-save and the message bar shows finale auto-saving on schedule (every 15 min) but i can no longer find the file that is getting saved. and it is not being saved in the folder i defined as the path! at one point when getting regular crashes, i opened the auto-save file (it was working properly after the installation) and began working in it (oops), then closed it, moved it to the client's folder, renamed it and opened it and kept working on it. since that time, no new file has been getting generated, it seems, for this file or for other files. is it possible that the file is referring to itself and saving its "second copy" into itself? i took a copy of the document i am working on and added " asv" to the filename and moved it to my asv folder but it has never been updated, despite auto-save kicking in dozens of times since. grrrrrrrrr. _______________________________________________ Finale mailing list [email protected] https://lists.shsu.edu/mailman/listinfo/finale
