As far as I can figure out - Finale no longer makes a visible AutoSave copy.
However, when I reopen the file I’ve been working on after a crash (infrequent
as they are for me), the reopened copy appears to have been saved according to
my AutoSave schedule. So it would appear to have been saved and somehow kept
in such a way that reopening the file accesses the AutoSave version. It’s
mysterious to me how this is done, but things seem to be working this way for
me, and since the AutoSave function no longer seems to result in a momentary
delay, as it used to in 2012, I have it set to save every 5 minutes, so I
hardly lose much work when there is a crash.

Anyone else confirm this impression?
