Hi,

This has happened to me as well. I sent the file to tech support and they were
able to show me how to fix it, I remember that in my case clearing the MIDI
data didn't work. Obviously you could try reloading the instruments, but one
other suggestion might be to export the file to .xml and then reimport it. That
is a solution support goes to often and it does work sometimes. Of course,
their famous, "Oh, something's wrong? Trash your preferences." goto that is
also often suggested by less experienced support staff is not usually necessary
– and your preferences die, and one thing I've never had them say – not once –
is that you'll lose all your preferences by doing this, and for newbies like me
years ago, the dots are not always connected. Voila, they think they're
helping, but the least they could do is tell you that you'll have a fair amount
of work to do once you get a new preferences file, and that solution doesn't
always work, either. Ok, that's my gripe. Anyway, when they suggest doing that
as a first-line solution I always insist they try harder and troubleshoot in
more detail and I've yet to have to delete that darn preferences file. <gripe>
