Consistency? I think that's irrelevant; after all, in a regular orchestra there are instruments in different keys, the transposing instruments are not all in Bb, but since it is an electronic instrument that is being retuned, there is no problem with strings snapping so I think the decisive factor should be which notation is likely to make the keyboard part easier to read/play, especially if having to switch from keyboard to piano.
