I've been getting the following error messages after
installing packages with the apt-get command;
dpkg: `install-info' not found on PATH.
dpkg: `update-rc.d' not found on PATH.
dpkg: 2 expected program(s) not found on PATH.
NB: root's PATH should usually contain /usr/local/sbin, /usr/sbin and /sbin.
E: Sub-process /sw/bin/dpkg returned an error code (2)
Furthermore, to invoke the apt-get command, I have
to use the full path name /sw/bin/apt-get. I do have
a .cshrc file with the line 'source /sw/bin/init.csh'
with a [return] afterwards. What needs to be done
to correct this?
