Thanks for explaining that to me. It really helps me. I am not sure if I
want to try something else right away. I like what I see so far with
Sawfish. I downloaded the rest of the Gnome stuff as well as GIMP. Got GIMP
to work without any problem.

I saw on theme.org with all different kinds of themes. On those screen
shots, they showed nice backdrops (wall paper?), icons of folders, icon of
applications in something like the dock of OS X and a GNOME icon (a foot).
That is what I am trying to get to show up. Theme.org has been very slow
lately. I will see what happens when I finally download one of those themes.
