The Fink selfupdate should have had a section like this:

The following 13 packages will be installed or updated:
   curl-ssl gdk-pixbuf gdk-pixbuf-shlibs libtool libxpg4 manconf mhonarc
   mutt-ssl openssl orbit orbit-bin orbit-shlibs python
The following 4 additional packages will be installed:
   curl-ssl-shlibs libtool-shlibs openssl-dev openssl-shlibs
Do you want to continue? [Y/n]

With (obviously) a different set of packages in your case. You can cut &
paste to install everything else if one of them doesn't work, and come
back for that other one later. I'm doing that right now in fact, as the
gdk-pixbuf- packages won't install for me, so I've manually done a:

  % fink install curl-ssl libtool libxpg4 manconf mhonarc \
    mutt-ssl openssl orbit orbit-bin orbit-shlibs python \
    curl-ssl-shlibs libtool-shlibs openssl-dev openssl-shlibs

...and now the other packages are upgrading normally.
